feel like how people talk about repression is really stupid and only occurs to people who can also meme themselves into feeling guilty about things. you can change almost anything about how you produce desire for any number of things in your life but when you talk about this wrt sexuality or some other more sensitive subject all of a sudden someone can frame it as "repression". i'm sorry but this just sounds like cope for a weird version of blue balls and i didnt "repress" to make myself not experience that phenomenon anymore, i made myself less of an overexcitable/hasty bitch about sex and it disappeared
