thinking naussica is at least half consciously meant to be prophetic
i've had this thought before but just recently thought about there literally being a prophecy in the story and was trying to figure out what function it served besides flavoring the village
@ZiaNitori I do kinda like the concept in the movie where Naussica finds out you can propagate the plants from the toxic jungle with the right conditions into something that's technically able to exist with humans but they never super go anywhere with it which I get for the movie but I enjoy what it implies
