Trying to be in the flow of the transcendent without engaging in sorcery is like drawing a cat without ever having witnessed one

@0utside0utsider good thing I’m trying to be in the flow of the fundament instead 😩

@0utside0utsider then there is no distinction between practicing sorcery and not practicing it

@destroy in one sense, yes, in another, nah, as one is recognizing the inner emptiness that composes all form and distinction between fundament and transcendent, where as the other is about coming to awareness of potentials in a situated context, which is to say doing or not doing sorcery only becomes non-distinct upon the realization of the practice, and such an awareness can lead to sudden clarity of the infinite potential and emptiness of all thibgsy; "the sage does nothing, yet all is achieved". How one gets to such a point is matter of inclination.

(Ftr, this is all in good humor on my part ;) )
(imo, issues of what is and is not a matter of realizing non-distinction is one of the most interesting points of disagreement in buddhism)

@0utside0utsider look if ur talking buddhism u should know it’s against the vinaya to practice sorcery

@destroy I'm a heretic :3 (strictly speaking, im just influenced by aspects and specific schools of vajrayana, I am not dedicated to it as a single path, and the interpretations of what is meant by "sorcery" in the vinaya is varied, and many take it to mean "causing harm", certainly many stories of monks of the tibetian tradution enacting "crazy wisdom" are not distinct from antinomian sorcery)
