@exiliaex i may be misunderstanding but could you just delete the folder contents and pop a `git clone` into it? kind of an in-place upgrade?

@exiliaex I think you can git clone elsewhere, checkout the version you currently have, then move the .git directory inside your actual installation. The very presence of the .git directory makes it a git repo that you can upgrade.
