my dog's mobility is getting a lot worse very quickly :( he cant go upstairs anymore so hes gonna be alone when he sleeps now unless i start sleeping on the couch downstairs
@sinistrist what about carrying him up?
@destroy he's v big and rlly getting down the stairs is even more of an issue and when we tried to help him with that he started growling and getting aggressive so it seems better to just keep him downstairs
@destroy yeah :( he's like 15 so his kind of sudden degradation isnt totally unexpected but its still making me rlly sad. we're taking him to the vet as soon as they can fit him in to see if it might just be an arthritis problem in which case it could be treated

@sinistrist taking care of an old dog is a rough experience. I’ve done it a couple times and it’s sad to see the decline
@destroy yeah this is the second time for me. we actually originally got this dog when our previous dog was getting up in years to act as a companion to him :(
@sinistrist my mom is on the third generation of companion dog for the old dog now…
