@vriska@lizards.live @destroy@masto.anarch.cc i used to do that at my old apartment because i hate electric stoves
@vriska@lizards.live @destroy@masto.anarch.cc those little butane burners aren't expensive. highly recommended if you can get one
@destroy@masto.anarch.cc @vriska@lizards.live CO2 isn't a big deal just watch out for CO
@anemone @vriska levels over 1000ppm are known to cause decreased cognitive ability. ASHRAE (ventilation & refrigeration professional org) recommends CO2 levels indoors shouldn’t exceed 1100 ppm. CO2 levels aren’t just bad by themselves but are also a good indicator of how well-ventilated a space is and how clean the air is.
@icedquinn @anemone @destroy gas is the only way for me, or actual campfire
@vriska@lizards.live @icedquinn@blob.cat @destroy@masto.anarch.cc ive seen wok grates for charcoal grills. I've thought about getting one since it'd be the easiest way to get restaurant stove level heat but it'd only be usable outside lol
@vriska jesus that’s shitty. I don’t recommend you do that because of the CO and CO2 tbh
@destroy one of my neighbors uses a portable gas burner in her house instead of the electric range because it's apparently cheaper to buy butane
