i had a really funny moment in class where my bio teacher was talking about bears and how they have a specific type of fat called "brown fat" and here i am thinking "man i wonder how bear meat tastes"

@destroy the local sportsmans club near where my grandparents used to live (an old company town called cherry valley) used to be known for their bear meat stew.
@Mondobizarrro what a coincidence the club is known for the meat the sportsmen don’t want to take home lol
@destroy i mean they also had a variety of other game meats. id honestly move out there if i could ngl. i loved living in the sticks. the roads and internet are actually good out there now, though thats probably due to all the dirty gas money that started to come in about 15-20 years ago.
i remember when i was very little those roads looked like they were shelled by artillery, it was more potholes than road back then.
