in a long car ride today, so im re-reading D&Gs nomadology. i forgot how referential so much of it is, so im using it to develop a new reading list after hitting a bit of a wall with the Agamben/Foucault train of thought i was following.
@exiliaex if you don't mind my asking, where did you start with theory and how do you decide where to go? do you intentionally seek out contrary texts or stick with an interesting "school" or line of thought? how do you approach new material or ideas?
there's so much context for everything it can be overwhelming, and I find recency bias to be a little challenging as well. but that might just be because I feel unsure of my critical reasoning skills.
