I love it when someone on discord tries to do the twitter one liner stupid question dunks on the topic of restaurants under communism, yet forget this doesn't really work on discord and i can reply properly lol

@agreedyboi oh okay, personal friends (or friends of friends) is much better than what i was imagining.
that's a very funny reply. like, yeah kinda, scanning barcodes does track resources... but maybe, just maybe, we could radically rethink what it means to share resources in a community.
@exiliaex Lol maybe someday we'll radically rethink this. But this person seems to be some kind of market enjoyer, which is fine (at times) i haven't gotten to the chapter where i talk to them about markets but since it's my own server where i don't have an audience, rather people who agree with me, i can walk them through it and let them 'renounce' the market sin (lol).
This is a lot different from when i'm on other servers where i have eyes on me, and i kinda do have to put up somewhat of a show because i'm not gonna be convincing the person but the crowd. So, this change is a nice one and less stressful.
@exiliaex My own server ironically, like it's a friend of a friend who's usually nice but when we talk about this stuff the brain rots. Like this is one of the replies i got on the topic which i did laugh a bit
