i'm thinking of building a map tool with user generated data for urban citizen ecological/environmental science. seeing https://hoodmaps.com has made me realize what might be possible.
okay so a friend told me about the app "iNaturalist" and it seems to have fulfilled quite a bit of what i was thinking of. i'll be trying it out for a bit.
@exiliaex it’s really fun! I had it a while back for a school project, I should download it again
now if only i had any programming skills (it said to itself, knowing that it worked as a software dev for 5 years)
