Gemini is an internet protocol for the small net. It’s simpler than HTTP, and supports features lacking in Gopher. It used to be easier to learn about from search engines, but they’ve gotten worse and in the time since it was announced other projects have used the name (they all suck, too). https://geminiprotocol.net/
