i love my crows, i love how developing a communication with them has changed our interactions over time. i love how careful they are. they are so goddamn cute

they're still too scared to come to my hands or arm. i want to get them past that. i'm not really scared of their claws hurting me, i've called them over to my bare arm before - but i'm still thinking about getting a falconry glove and perhaps a well shaped stick with a perch for them. i'm thinking they might be more comfortable with a perch i'm holding than my arm...

@exiliaex crows are awesome. i have an agreement with the locals here. i feed them peanuts, and in exchange i get to watch them eat peanuts

@sarahzedig we have a similar agreement here - though, in exchange, they teach me new funny noises and also sometimes deliver trinkets (bones and shinies, like vape carts)

i don't remember which zoo it was i went to but they had a room full of cockatiels and we could buy feeding sticks and one of them flew right up and perched on my feeding stick resting its butt on my hand. it was very cute. i imagine a crow would not be as light though lmao
