@exiliaex as someone who has studied genocide - yes, it absolutely is genocidal to utilise schools to push ethnic minorities into accepting or even committing genocidal rhetoric lmao that's literally part of cultural erasure that's fundamental to genocide anyone who says otherwise is just, goofy and uneducated on the topic
@exiliaex it takes one historical instance of a government not doing what it said it'd do to dispel this type of thinking unless you believe yourself to be capable of wielding some of that social power (which they do in discourse, in the workplace and in the family unit). in 5-ish years they might need to be abusing their child to fit in in school and they cant do that without the bluff of authority
@exiliaex most leftists cannot see the school as an extension of clerical, corporate, or state interests, and it's deeply upsetting to me that people don't see that.
and on the flipside, certain leftists advocate for the even worse homeschooling model, thereby maintaining parenthood, as well as the absolutism of parenthood.
