@agreedyboi DAS? im unfamiliar
cant believe how they tricked us all into thinking we dont deserve to be able to make and share our own copies of information
Hey! Are you publishing an academic text?
MAKE IT AVAILABLE FOR EVERYONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@vxo woooooahhhhh
@zardoru that's okay. i'm just saying that, for those of us who see the problem, we can take actions to help alleviate it.
gonna centralize some of the tools people have mentioned in replies here
"Shiroi" : https://github.com/go-shiori/shiori/
"HTTrack" : https://www.httrack.com/page/2/
"Archive Box" : https://archivebox.io/
"SingleFile" : https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/single-file/ (there's versions for other browsers out there too)
@wizzwizz4 @Burn_this_ someone else in my replies shared this other tool
@Burn_this_ depends on what tools you have available to you and what kind of site you wanna save! sometimes it just means taking screenshots of the different pages. sometimes it means reproducing the useful text info on your own site, sometimes it means using a tool to save everything! it depends!
@aoanla i saw people talking about browsing soulseek - i may give that a try
@maalmike yo that sounds sick!! ill have to look into that!
AFTERLIFE
@garbados the discourse it opens up about the relationship between the micro-effects of experiences and so-called delusions is so useful imo and seems so apt for what youre describing above
AFTERLIFE
@garbados if you've never read it, i highly recommend giving Anti-Oedipus a read!
@foolishowl ill give both of those a look! thank you!
@kelsey ive hated algorithmic music reccs since i was a kid in school discovering Pandora for the first time
